In our ever-busy world bathing seems to be a luxury that is on the low end
of the priority list. In fact, it is one of the most luxurious and
nurturing treatments that we can give ourselves. We especially recommend
taking a bath at the completion of the day. It is not about getting clean
(that's a bonus) it's about self help, wellness and peace of mind. It's a
great way to relax and release all that has taken place, lying back in the
aromatic water, taking time to reflect on the achievements, the challenges
and insights that you've gleaned, whilst your body soaks and absorbs the
healing benefits of the essential oils.
Bathing with high quality organic and exceptionally pure essential oils
can release congestion, promote circulation, dissipate muscle tension and
fatigue, stress and tension. It can cleanse the body and help quiet the
mind. The choice of cross cultural essential oils that you add onto the
bath water (for they are not soluble in water) can enable you to direct
your bathing experience; a quietening or energizing experience is now up to
you!
There are many ways that you can take an aromatherapy bath. Once again
it's the intention that ultimately determines the results. You can take a
quick, energizing aromatic bath in the morning, all you have to do is fill
the bath to three quarters full with hot (not to hot) water. Dispense 3 - 5
drops (in total) of your chosen pure essential oil/s (in total) onto the
surface of the drawn bath and agitate the surface to disperse the essential
molecules. Once you've done this, climb into the bath, splash yourself all
over (close your eyes if you include your face). You can make it a three -
five minutes experience if you're in a hurry. It's a fantastic start to the
day. Finish off by sponging your body down, with a sea sponge of face
cloth. If your using a face cloth, wring it out until almost dry and place
it over your face and take a moment to inhale the aromatic vapors, wipe
your face over to finish.
